My Entrepreneurship Story

My Entrepreneurship Story

From birth, I have been exposed to a lot of entrepreneurship. My father, who moved to the United States at the age of 17, did not graduate college. He was a business man from the start and totally not the student type. He is always flooded with business ideas and loves to share them with large gesticulations and facial expressions. Throughout my life he has done projects like restaurants, bars, hotels, a black cab company in NYC, a music festival called iiiPoints in Miami, and clubs. This has caused me to grow up visualizing projects of my own.

I am enrolled in this course this semester because it is an Innovation Academy requirement. I hope to get out of this course as much useful information as I can in order to one day soon know how to go about my entrepreneurial goals and desires. I really hope to become more self-sufficient and outgoing financially and I believe this course will really guide me to support myself in that way.

This was an excellent post. I enjoyed how you shared the fact that the entrepreneurial spirit has always existed in your family, especially with your father, who is in fact an actual entrepreneur. It is amazing to me how he has started so many entrepreneurial ventures, including restaurants, bars, companies, and even different kinds of festivals. I hope that your families background can enhance your experience in this course, and I wish you luck on any future ventures that you may choose to go on.
