15A Buyer Behavior

15A Buyer Behavior

-Alternatives
Customers evaluate their alternatives by convenience, price, accessibility, ease, and pace. People usually pick something they know they like or they do what is most convenient. People do not typically go out of their way unless they know the outcome. Most people like to get what they already know they will enjoy most of the time and then take risks every now and then which means trying something new. For most students, price is the biggest factor and they will not go out of their convenience to seek for quality.
-How/Where?
Some customers prefer cash but most prefer what is easiest which is usually online purchasing. However for in person transactions credit and debit is used. People tend to find checking out on the tablet and being able to select the tip button much easier than writing the tip and total on the receipt. Also this is a more environmentally friendly direction.
-Post purchase evaluation
In the industry I am focusing in which is food, what matters most to the customer to determine post purchase satisfaction is the question was it worth it. This usually means was it tasty and filling enough to out-way the price that the customer paid for the food .
